We’ve been shaking up the online affiliate business for years, investing millions into technical solutions to transform online shopping as we know it.

A successful software engineer at RedBrain will write production ready code that is understandable and easily testable, with best practices being understood and followed, and where appropriate use advanced language features and algorithms.

Observability will be front of mind when developing something new, and the software engineer will be pushing for better logging and monitoring.

The software engineer will be able to design applications that fit within the overall architectural strategy.

The software engineer will be a great team player, providing and seeking useful feedback from other members of their team, and seeking opportunities to help out within the wider business.

The software engineer will be able to manage their own workload, estimate tasks well and prioritise when issues arise.

Software Engineer Skills are:

  • Good experience in either Go, Java or Typescript with a passion for learning new languages.

  • Version control system(s)

  • Ability to write and maintain automated tests (unit testing, integration testing)

  • Writing and consuming public API.

  • Worked in a team environment

  • Organize documenting and maintenance of software functionality

  • Agile working methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
